Synthetic Alpha — Guided Testing Checklist
This is a hands-on guide for people who have never used Infinity Alpha before. Follow the instructions under each test; you do not need to know the system in advance.
Start here — your first 5 minutes
- Open the Infinity Alpha Portal and sign in to your assigned Synthetic Alpha test account. If you were given a different test link, use that instead.
- Take a moment to explore the home dashboard. On desktop, use the main navigation menu; on the mobile app, use the bottom navigation and More menu.
- Keep this checklist open in another browser tab or on another device. Follow each Where / What to do / What should happen instruction.
- Use dummy/test information only. Name records with TEST so they are easy to recognise. Do not enter real customer details, payment information or confidential documents.
- After each test, choose a result and add a comment if anything fails or is confusing. You can leave tests you cannot access as Unable to complete.
- Your answers save automatically in this browser. Use Download backup if you want a copy, then Submit testing results at the bottom when ready.
Found a problem? On a Synthetic Alpha page, tap Report Feedback and describe exactly what you clicked, what happened and what you expected. Check the screenshot before sending it. Also mark the relevant checklist test as Issue found.
Access differs by role: Some tests require a manager, HR, reviewer or second demo account. If you were not given access, select Unable to complete and write “No access/test account provided”. Do not try to bypass permissions.
How to choose your result
Passed: It worked as described. Issue found: It failed or behaved unexpectedly. Unable to complete: You lack access, test data or another account. Not tested: You have not attempted it yet.
